اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي أَوْ قَالَ فِي عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي أَوْ قَالَ فِي عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِي الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي

Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi ilmika wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika wa asaluka min fadlika al-azim, fa innaka taqdiru wa la aqdiru wa ta’lamu wa la a’lamu wa anta allamu al-ghuyub. Allahumma in kunta ta’lamu anna hadha al-amra khairun li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa aqibati amri faqdurhu li wa yassirhu li thumma barik li fihi. Wa in kunta ta’lamu anna hadha al-amra sharrun li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa aqibati amri fasrifhu anni wasrifni anhu waqdur li al-khaira haythu kana thumma ardini bihi.

ऐ अल्लाह! मैं तेरे ज्ञान के जरिए तुझसे बेहतरी (खैर) की तलब करता हूँ, और तेरी कुदरत के जरिए तुझसे ताक़त मांगता हूँ, और तेरे अज़ीम फजल की भीक मांगता हूँ, क्योंकि तू ही कुदरत वाला है, मैं कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता, तू ही जानने वाला है, मैं कुछ नहीं जानता, तू ही ग़ैब के जानने वाला है। ऐ अल्लाह! अगर तू जानता है कि यह काम (जो काम के लिए इस्तिखारा किया गया है, उसे यहाँ ज़िक्र करें) मेरे लिए मेरे धर्म में, और मेरी ज़िन्दगी में और मेरे आखिरत के मामले में बेहतर है, तो तू इसे मेरे लिए मुकद्दर कर, और इसे मेरे लिए आसान कर, और इसमें मेरे लिए बरकत दे। और अगर तू जानता है कि यह काम मेरे लिए मेरे धर्म में, और मेरी ज़िन्दगी में और मेरे आखिरत के मामले में बुरा है, तो इसे मुझसे दूर कर, और मुझे इससे दूर कर, और मेरे लिए जहाँ भी खैर हो, उसे मेरे लिए मुकद्दर कर और फिर मुझे इस पर राज़ी कर।
